President's Message

Brothers and sisters members of WSTA

With Peace, mercy and blessings of Allah,,,

I am pleased and honored to welcome you most sincerely, and to express to you my great gratitude and pride in the confidence you have given me by choosing me as President of the WSTA for the upcoming period 2019-2021. This confidence, which I cherish, gives me the determination to exert more effort and give, to use all my experiences and to do everything I can in the service of this well-known organization. I would also like to congratulate my fellow new board members on their election for this session. I will also like to pay tribute to the former presidents and members of the Board of Directors, who have devoted their time and effort to the Association since its establishment for their sincere work.

The current stage requires the Board of Directors to exert more efforts in order to maintain many of the gains WSTA achieved, and to invest these gains to achieve our biggest ambitions in the next stage, God willing. The interim objective of this association is to translate and activate all scientific programs and activities approved by the board of directors on the ground to serve the members in particular and the Gulf community in general, and that the media role and water awareness will have a large share during the next stage to raise the name of the association and its definition in social circles and regional forums. As well as, intensifying efforts to reach the various water sectors and developers of water resources in the region.

In conclusion, I would like to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to the responsible authorities, all government agencies, official and private institutions, the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, individuals and the media for their support extended to WSTA throughout its career.

I encourage everyone, especially new members to work hard in order to achieve the Board's ambitious goals for the good and growth of our society and our association.
