Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain, the International Peace Institutwe and WSTA jointly organized today 11th April 2018, a symposium on Water preventive diplomacy. The symposium discussed preventive measures to ensure the sustainable and equitable distribution of water resources in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Dr. Walid Zabari, WSTA Vice President, participated in the symposium with a lecture entitled “Water Diplomacy and Regional Integration / Cooperation”. The event was also attended by members of the Board Eng. Mohammed Sawar and Eng.Tawfiq Al-Ghasham. The Executive Director Eng. Ali Redha and a number of WSTA members such as Dr. Abdulmajeed Al Awadhi and Eng. Mohamed Al Soufi.
