As part of the WSTA Board tour in the GCC States, Mr Abdulrahman Almahmoud met the Emirates undersecretary of Energy HE Dr. Matar Alniyadi in his office on 6th March 2016. The talks were focused on several issues concerning the water situation in the region and WSTA new Board desire to achieve closer cooperation with the water resources authorities in the Gulf Cooperation Council and to achieve maximum success in the implementation of the strategy. The meeting also discussed several issues concerning WAST’s contribution to help Authorities in their staff development plans either through specialized Training Programs, Seminars and Conferences.
